Description
Job Tasks:
  • Service, clean or supply common areas of the work place and production area.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Strip, seal, finish, and polish floors.
  • Shovel or load debris from work and production areas.
  • Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.
  • Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.
  • Clean windows, glass partitions, or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, or squeegees.
  • Monitor work areas in accordance to OSHA confined space safety procedures and requirements.
Job Requirements:
  • Most have reliable and dependable transportation.  This position in not located on a bus line.
  • Strong work ethic.
  • Flexible work schedule.  Most be able to work rotating shifts and weekends.  Typical shifts are 10 – 12 hours and vary week to week.
  • Ability to work independently with little supervision.
  • Must be able to stand for long periods of time and able to lift 75 – 100 pounds as needed.
  • Able to work in varying weather conditions and temperatures.
  • Must be able to pass a background check
